McMAHAN, Winfield - Putnam

Winfield Scott McMahan, 75, died at his home in Greencastle Saturday morning. Funeral services were held at the Chastain funeral home Monday afternoon with burial in Roachdale cemetery. He was born near Brick Chapel January 2, 1862. He married June 2, 1896 to Rosa Faller, who survives. Other survivors are two daughters; Miss Ruth McMahan and Mrs. Dorothy Hudgins of Danville.   --- thanks so much to Marilyn Walker who so graciously donated her Roachdale Times obituary collection - greatly appreciated!!
